Lyn Grooters

Clinical Therapist, LISW (Licensed Independent Social Worker)

Just like finding the right doctor, it’s important to find a therapist who listens to you, hears your concerns, and responds with genuine care, concern, and competence.  It is my goal to provide services within a safe, trusting, and nonthreatening environment.  Whether dealing with life stressors, anxiety, depression, low self esteem, relationship issues, anger, or other issues in your life, I am here to walk with you on that journey.

My approach is to allow you to share your story, develop your insight into what has happened, build on your existing strengths, and work to teach further insights and new skills to bring about change.  While providing an accepting environment, you will be challenged to “think differently” about your thoughts, ideas, feelings, and behaviors.

My past experience working within the school system gives me a unique perspective of the workplace environment and stressors incurred. Additionally, my work over the years has included individuals with disabilities and their families.  I look forward to meeting you and beginning this journey together.
