 My journey as a therapist began early in life. I have witnessed and personally gone through the struggles of loved ones struggling with mental illness. This gave me the drive and desire to end the stigma with mental health and improve the mental health system within our society. Many people believe that “their label” defines them. I have learned through personal experience and with my work in the mental health field that a person is not their label or diagnosis.  We are all human beings that have our own struggles like anyone else in this world. In my practice I validate and empathize with my clients and assist them to increase resiliency, reduce symptoms and solve problems in a healthy and effective manner. I also help my clients develop and learn strategies and skills that will allow them to change negative thought patterns and behaviors that assist them with finding their inner strength and true self. 

Our lives unfortunately don’t come with a handbook or guidelines to prepare us for our struggles and obstacles that will face in life.  However, we have the opportunity to write our own handbook and create new chapters in our lives. Your story is never over, it is just beginning. Therapy is a great way to start building your journey to self exploration and healing. Therapy helps people that are struggling increase knowledge and improve their quality of life that we all deserve. Let’s get started with creating a life that feels good on the inside and not one that just looks good on the outside.



Years in practice: I have been working in the mental health field for 8 years. I recently received my T-LMHC for mental health counseling in June of 2018 and have been practicing therapy since April of 2019.
